High pressure: We are accustomed to building chemical process equipment which requires high pressure flanges (i.e. Class 1500) using RTJ groove gaskets or even metal to metal (no gasket) joints. 

Mixer element: The element is the device that the fluid flows over or through that causes the fluid streams to blend. Our most common elements are the BMV (Bartlett, mixer, vane) and the BMX (Bartlett, mixer, "X" style) elements. See the descriptions of these elements below. 

The BMX is typically used for high viscosity applications or applications in which the fluid velocity is so low that turbulent flow cannot be guaranteed. In these applications, the BMX element produces the most mixing with the least pressure drop. 

The BMV element consists of layers of specially formed material that causes material flowing through the pipe to divide into separte streams and then cross each other to create a sliding action between to two streams. This sliding action caused the fluid at the interface to rotate or tumble. 

The BMF style element was designed for applications with stringy or fibrous material in the flow stream. Its design utilizes no touching surfaces in the flow stream.
