CAPACITY The Polygon has a greater capacity for torque than any other shaft attachment. The effective shaft strength is not reduced by cut out splines or keyways; the load is distributed over a generous area. In many cases, the shaft diameter can even be reduced.
Both of these polygon profiles are available in most materials and in shaft sizes with starting diameters from ¼" to 8" and up to 102" in length.
