IPEX launches Plenumline Acid Waste Piping System for use in Severe Conditions - Toronto. 30 September 2003 Engineers and contractors of acid waste systems have access to a robust new piping system by IPEX specially designed to handle demanding environments.

The new piping system serves industries and institutions ranging from pharmaceutical and chemical plants to college and hospital laboratories. Third-party testing of the system indicates a flame spread rating of 5 and a smoke development index of 35.

Most importantly, the CCS supports the conduit away from the mounting surface and made of PVC, the straps are ideal for use in wash-down areas and in corrosive and/or wet location environments.

Add our innovative form stubbys and Kwikon® concrete-tight slab boxes, available with or without integral ½", ¾" or 1" molded hub connectors, and you've got a total integrated system that saves you time and money on the job.

Noncorroding and nonconducting Kwikon® Electrical Nonmetallic Tubing (ENT) and fittings, slab boxes and accessories are engineered for the rugged day-to-day challenges of the construction industry – whether encased in concrete or concealed in wall or ceilings.
