The Lexair Wrench Operated line features a design that requires no drawtube cylinder or collet closer as they are manually operated via a standard chuck key. These chucks feature a flat back and can be used in any application on lathes, mills, grinders, etc. for all your machining needs. 

Both styles of the Lexair Prodyne® Fixed Length Collet Chucks set new standards for accuracy and speed. The models that utilize Index style collets have a typical accuracy of .0005 inches TIR and a repeatability .0002 inches. 

Air pressure is used to open the chuck and release the collet. Our chuck features strong, dependable die springs (mounted in the axial, not the radial plane) to provide the mechanical grip force. 

The Lexair Direct Mount Collet Chucks offer a simple and economical way of holding material for turning when using "C" or "J" style collets. 

The Lexair Prodyne® Servo Collet Chuck is a fixed-length model designed for use with programmable bar feeder applications where accurate positioning of the stock is required.
